Not that that comment would overshadow the entire visit, but it deserves a mention – and not just because the media would collapse the entire visit around the joke if it was Donald Trump who made it.
For starters, the joke has become a bigger problem for the president, as he seems to have lost his ability to clearly understand what constitutes appropriate behavior.
Is this joke appropriate?
I’ll safely assume that no lyricist played a role in persuading him to include this bit of fun in his comment. So, what are we going to do about a president who thinks this is the time and place to take this gem home? ravaged by storm Kentucky?
