THEY are two of the most in-demand people in showbiz and Beyonce and Zendaya are currently in talks to collaborate.
I heard the two had initial discussions about creating a remake of the classic movie Imitation Of Life.
The 1934 breakthrough film, remade in 1959 starring the main actors Lana Turnergrapples with questions of race, class, and gender as an aspiring white actress plays an African-American widow whose mixed-race daughter aspires to be white.
Hollywood beauty Zendaya – who was photographed dancing in a pink dress as part of the new movie marketing campaign – in line for a lead role, and the queen of pop Beyoncé Would love to join as a producer.
One film insider said: “Imitation Of Life is well known in the movie world for the problems it tackles – and they seem more relevant than ever right now.
“Everybody wants Zendaya in their movies at the moment but it looks like this could be the movie that takes her to the next level and actually picks up some awards.

If both Zendaya and Beyonce are signed up for the film, which is still in early development, it won’t be the first time they’ve worked together.
