Bay Area liberals are finally seeing common sense in crime
Just as absolute power corrupts absolutely, so absolute progressive control corrupts everything.
And residents of California’s Bay Area have witnessed the social decay that ensues when these political succubi are promoted to positions of power.
You’ve watched San Francisco, a once vibrant city that drew people from all over the world, see its life force drained from it by irreverent ideologues enthusiastic about politics that affirm their belief system – and the people be damned.
But there are signs that from the ashes of former greatness is emerging a phoenix made up of angry business owners, local residents and victims’ families, who are targeting the indifferent rulers who actively support and abette the demolition of their home.
A grassroots coalition called Save Alameda County For Everyone (SAFE) has just filed a recall motion for Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price, citing the rise in crime and lawlessness during her seven-month tenure in the Oakland-based county is called.
“We are united in our belief that the recall of Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price is not only necessary, but vital to keeping our community safe and restoring public safety in our neighborhoods,” SAFE said .
“We know that removing an officer from office is a long and tedious process that requires major and sustained efforts at the grassroots level. However, we are determined to remove Price from office as our safety and that of our families is at stake.”
When faced with fair criticism of their failures, progressive elitists claim, as usual, that they are politically motivated and right-wing.
“In what looks like a page from the Jan. 6 script, outside interest groups, backed by the Republican Party, are trying to take control of local voters because they refuse to accept the results of a legitimate, democratic election accept.” Remove the status quo,” lamented Price.
Even the local NAACP is calling for a state of emergency over rising crime and blaming Price for Oakland’s ongoing dysfunction: Is the NAACP right-wing too?
Progressive rulers blame people who defy their belief system, highlighting their political failings and trying to hold them accountable for being right-wing because literally everyone is to their right politically, including liberals.
A common mistake conservatives make is to lump these inexplicable failings into the “liberal” category when their political ideology and behavior are far from: I would know because I was one.
There’s nothing liberal about allowing people to use and sell drugs, like in San Francisco, just steps from City Hall.
There is no rational liberal who would accept that some people, because of their unchangeable characteristics, should enjoy leniency in sentencing as Price does.
These aren’t liberal concepts, but the trick is to trick you into believing they are.
Think about it: San Francisco has been a “liberal city” for decades, so why did it suddenly morph into Gotham City within a few years?
That’s because the people who hold the most powerful and influential positions in the Bay Area aren’t liberals, but liberals let them take power.
I watched as the Democratic Party, a party that once proudly proclaimed itself liberal, morphed into an illiberal, progressive fanatic who catered to the faction of upper-class elite ideologues flaunting their grandiose ideas that inevitably end in an oppressed communist wasteland.
The moderate liberals’ irrational panic at battling the big bad wolf, Donald Trump, distracted them from noticing that another and more pernicious ideological wolf had already invaded their chicken coop.
But every failure becomes an opportunity for a renaissance, and it’s possible that’s starting to show in the Bay Area.
With the ouster of former San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin last year, a horrific 66% disapproval rate for San Francisco Mayor London Breed, and now an attempt to recall Price, we may be seeing signs of a revival — or at least we are a realization.
It’s possible that some Bay Area liberals are realizing that progressives don’t care if they destroy your wealth, your comfort, or your security; They only care about their dogma.
They are committed to deconstructing society to transform it into their utopian vision, and they have no qualms about crushing anyone who stands in their way to make this impossibility a reality: yes, that includes you, Liberal.
Coalitions like SAFE and other outraged local residents eventually choose to rise from the broken glass on the ground left over from another car theft to stand up to the people who are using their absolute power to wreak absolute havoc.
Liberal, the enemy you should be most worried about isn’t on your right: look the other way.
