Baltimore County police shot after stolen car driver tried to flee, police say – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The driver of a stolen vehicle rammed the police vehicle several times while trying to flee a traffic stop before another officer opened fire on Tuesday night, police said.
According to police, the officer fired a single shot and no one was shot. The employee inside the vehicle that was hit by the stolen SUV suffered minor injuries.

A suspected stolen vehicle was taken around 5:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of Blanche Road near the Fallstaff Shopping Center on Reisterstown Road. According to police, the driver tried to leave the scene, repeatedly hitting the police car.

After the police fired a shot, the driver surrendered and was arrested. They are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
