Jackson’s six-hour documentary has arrived Disney + last year in three two-hour episodes that aired over Thanksgiving weekend. The film takes the audience into the recording of the band’s breakthrough album Let it be. The documentary that combines over 60 hours of unseen footage with over 150 hours of inaudible sound showcases the Fab Four’s creative genius.

At the time, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star were preparing for their first live concert in two years. The Beatles: Back recorded the group writing and rehearsing 14 new songs for the live album and other songs featured on the Beatles’ last albums, Abbey Road and Let it be. The film also shows footage of The Beatles’ legendary rooftop concert at Saville Row in London. The performances marked their last live show as a group.

Fans will have a chance to relive that unforgettable concert in IMAX theaters starting January 30. The release date coincides with the 53rd anniversary of the original performance. The Beatles: Get Back – Rooftop Concert will show in IMAX at Apple Corps headquarters in London and various cinemas across the US

Jackson will attend the London screening and participate in a Q&A session that will be broadcast simultaneously in participating theaters. The 60-minute film will return to IMAX screens in a short theatrical run from February 11-13.

“I’m so happy for the rooftop concert from The Beatles: Back will be experienced in IMAX, on that big screen,” Jackson said in one statement. “This was the Beatles’ last concert, and it was the absolute perfect way to see and hear it.”
