ONE CBS comedy series, B Positive The TV show stars Annaleigh Ashford, Thomas Middleditch, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G., Terrence Terrell, Linda Lavin, David Anthony Higgins and Darryl Stephens alongside Hector Elizondo, Jane Seymour, Ben Vereen , Jim Beaver and Anna Maria Horsford. The story begins with Drew (Middleditch), a therapist and recently divorced father who is in need of a new kidney and social life. He runs into Gina (Ashford), a rather difficult acquaintance from former high school, who volunteers to buy one of her own kidneys. Together, Drew and Gina form a strong and enduring friendship. In the process, Gina discovers that the happiness she has been looking for can be found in the form of giving. In season two, Gina inherits an unexpected fortune from a patient at Valley Hills, the assisted living facility where she works, and this sets her off for a big change for the better..
