AZ man arrested for allegedly assaulting and attempting to kidnap a pregnant woman

Authorities in El Paso, Texas last week arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged assault and attempted kidnapping of a pregnant real estate agent in Tucson, Arizona.

Juan Nunley Jr. was arrested Wednesday and booked as an Arizona fugitive in the El Paso County Jail under the alias Donasti Vomsiea, according to court filings reported by local Tucson edition KOLD News 13.

Nunley allegedly attacked the pregnant real estate agent with a gun and tried to detain her while she was offering a home tour to a potential buyer in Tucson on Oct. 8, police said.

The real estate agent was able to escape and call 911, but reportedly suffered a miscarriage three days later as a result of her injuries, authorities said.

After their investigation, detectives identified Nunley as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.

Authorities had offered a $13,000 reward for information leading to Nunley’s arrest.

Nunley has multiple felony convictions and prison terms in Pima County and Graham County, Arizona, over the past two decades, according to Arizona Department of Justice records reported by
