Australian actor says cop killings were caused by COVID lockdowns

Underbelly actor Firass Dirani has posted an eyebrow-raising take on the Queensland police killings on Monday night, linking the shooting to Covid lockdowns.
In a recent Instagram story, Dirani bizarrely questioned whether the “plandemic” was to blame for the poor mental health that led to a string of Queensland shootings.
“Wtf is going on in Qld?” he wrote.

“Sun crime state, it’s safe to say Queensland is the country’s mass shooting state. Plandemic really messed with the psyche.”
Dirani further clarified his comments in a statement to Daily Mail Australia.
“I note that mental health may be the issue in this mass shooting. Motivated by two years of suspensions and lies,” he said.
On Monday afternoon, Constable Rachel McCrow and Constable Matthew Arnold were shot and killed while conducting a routine search for missing persons at 251 Wains Rd in Wieambilla in Queensland’s Darling Downs region.

An innocent neighbor, Alan Dare, was also executed in the attack, with Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll confirming that “plenty of ammunition and weapons” had been found at the address.
Police have since confirmed that Gareth and Nathaniel Train were killed in a subsequent shootout with Special Operations officers, as well as a third female suspect believed to be Gareth Train’s wife Stacey.
It has since emerged that Gareth Train was a well-known conspiracy theorist who regularly posted his extreme views online.

A staffer told The Guardian his descent into the world of conspiracy theories was relatively recent, with Mr Train claiming the 1996 Port Arthur massacre was a false flag operation to “disarm the Australian people” and claimed repeated, the education camps”.
“Re-education camps are at the end of the line. Monitoring of the rail system ensures that no escape is possible. Dissenters will catch the long black train,” he bizarrely posted under a 2021 article on QLD Rail’s surveillance capabilities, adding, “Beware the boogie monster.”

He also expressed his dislike of authorities, including the Queensland Special Emergency Response Team, and appeared to support the doomsday prepper movement.
Police arrived at the Queensland estate on Monday afternoon, concerned for the well-being of Nathaniel Train.

He was last seen in Dubbo in NSW on December 16, 2021 but kept in touch with his family until Sunday October 9, 2022.
Nathaniel Train was a former headmaster who formally left NSW Department of Education employment in March this year, despite not having worked at a school in the state since August 2021.
He previously worked as a principal at a number of schools including Yorkeys Knob State School, Walgett Community College Primary School and Innisfail East State School.
