At least two people have been injured at the shooting range at a Newburgh Free Academy football game

Two people were reportedly injured when a gunman opened fire at a high school football game in upstate New York on Friday night.

The shooting erupted on the field at Newburgh Free Academy, where the high school team played Warwick High School, News12 Westchester reported.

Two people were taken to St Luke’s Hospital. Her condition is not yet known.

It was unclear what sparked the violence and police did not release any further information.
