Asmongold celebrates crypto and NFT crash: “I don’t feel bad”

Twitch star Asmongold couldn’t help but laugh at the massive collapse of the crypto and NFT markets as he has been a vocal opponent of the technology since its inception.

The cryptocurrency market as well as the NFT market are currently in complete free fall.

One of the most popular cryptocurrencies, Luna, has completely collapsed, losing almost all of its value in a matter of days.

Asmongold has long been an opponent of investing in crypto and has said he is concerned that young investors will be overwhelmed when investing in the new technology – prompting his reaction to the recent crash.

The 30-year-old streamer admitted he wouldn’t even go live on Twitch, but when he got wind of the crypto crash, he just had to turn on the camera.

“I was about to post that I won’t be going live today. And then I thought, you know what, it doesn’t matter how I feel. I won’t miss the day the damn NFT king dies.”

Asmon erupted as he railed against both NFTs and crypto in general for quite some time.

The OTK streamer continued, “I never feel bad for people losing their money on this stuff. Because you don’t bet on anything. And as soon as people realize it’s nothing, they start selling and the price goes down.”

Asmon ended his thoughts on the crash: “It has no intrinsic value. If everyone thinks it’s worth nothing, then it’s worth nothing.”

Unlike company stocks, cryptocurrencies are not productive assets, such as B. a company, which means that their value is largely based simply on what others are willing to pay for it.

The Twitch star certainly felt vindicated as he said from the start that both crypto and NFTs are not solid investments.
