Soap opera actress Marnie Schulenburg is dead after losing her battle with stage four metastatic breast cancer. she was 37

She died Tuesday at a hospital in Bloomfield, New Jersey, her representative told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Please don’t say that Marnie lost her battle with cancer. It’s just not true. I’ve watched her kick cancer’s ass every day since she was diagnosed,” Robidas reportedly said in a Facebook post, according to Variety. “She is unbelievable. We decided to attack her diagnosis with blind optimism. We just talked about the future and kept moving forward. I don’t know if that was right, but it was all we knew.”

“I know I’m here [Coda] is the best gift I can give her,” she wrote on Facebook recently, according to the SheKnows Soaps report. “But right now it feels like I’m settling down as she’s getting a half-life version of me. My mom was 100 percent there for me every day growing up, or at least it seemed so. I want to give Coda the same, but I have to be kind to myself and remember that nothing lasts.”

The Massachusetts native was diagnosed five months after her daughter was born in December 2019, according to the reporter.
