‘As good as anyone’: Gary Neville makes interesting statement about Tottenham’s Daniel Levy

Gary Neville believes new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was the one who managed Daniel Levy ‘as well as anyone’ at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Tottenham chairman is known for being stubborn and difficult to deal with, taking either his way or the motorway.

Mauricio Pochettino worked under his stewardship for many years and had success, including leading them to the Champions League final and now Neville believes he can do the same at Chelsea, as he said The overlap.

Todd Boehly marched onto the Premier League stage last year, spending his money like crazy and doing things his way and only his way.

It all resulted in ending up in the bottom half, the roster was bloated and hundreds and hundreds of millions were spent, but the roster needs more investment.

Given what Pochettino has struggled with in the past in relation to Levy, Neville shared how he will use this to trump the Chelsea players.

“He (Pochettino) will be a shield for these (Chelsea) owners,” said Neville. “Just like Klopp was at Liverpool. He will be.

“What these owners need is someone to run the club. Your manager goes to interviews three to four times a week. Before and after the game. Two and three games a week.

“He speaks well. Everyone trusts him. fans like him. Opposing coaches and players like him. Will be a very good front for these owners. The owners can take a back seat and get on with what they are doing. I think they made a wise decision.

“He’s smart enough to do it right. You have to remember that he has managed Daniel Levy as well as anyone over the past 15 years.”
