Art: Santa Fe’s popular Meow Wolf art exhibit will open in Houston in 2024

HOUSTON, Texas – The mesmerizing interactive adventure from Santa Fe, known for enchanting art lovers and entertainment fanatics with its breathtaking, immersive experiences, is coming to Texas with a new permanent exhibit in Houston: Meow Wolf will open a new “portal” here.

The video above is from a previous report.

Specifically, Meow Wolf intends to unveil a Houston portal in the Fifth Ward historic cultural district and to bring in Houston-based real estate company The Deal Co. as a development partner. The Houston portal is scheduled to open in 2024.

This comes after the announcement of a meow wolf portal in Dallas-Fort Worth on Wednesday, May 11, which marks the innovative company’s first permanent installation in the Lone Star State. The new DFW area portal is so named for Meow Wolf’s expertise in transporting visitors to fantastical realms of imagination.

It will be located in the Grapevine Mills shopping center and will be 40,000 square feet in space formerly occupied by a large department store.
