Arsenal star Bernd Leno’s home is hit by a falling tree after storm Eunice hits the UK

ARSENAL star Bernd Leno watched his house fall by a tree during the chaos caused by Hurricane Eunice.

Britain was hit by adverse weather yesterday, with more than a million homes left without electricity among powerful gales.

Leno29 years old, took to social media to show fans the damage Eunice has caused to his garden.

The German posted an image of a toppled tree in his yard with the caption ‘oh good’.

He shared another about a tree located next to his house, adding: “closed”.

Leno may feel a bit lucky, after spending a disappointing season with the Gunners.

After starting the first three Premier League games of the campaign, the German player lost his starting ground to Aaron Ramsdale.

He has since had to content himself with a trio of League Cup matches, as well as appearing in Arsenal lost to Nottingham Forest at the FA Cup.

Leno missed last week 1-0 win over Wolves after testing positive for Covid-19, although he is now cured.

Boss Mikel Arteta said yesterday: “He’s fine. He’s recovering well, doesn’t have too many symptoms, he’s been training for the past few days and he’s feeling good so he’ll be available.”

The nine-level international was linked with Newcastle in January and can join Toon This summer, should they stay in the Premier League.
