Arsenal legend Ian Wright reveals he’s going to be a great grandfather at 58 and holds back tears ahead of grandson’s debut
ARSENAL legend Ian Wright has announced that he will become an old man at the age of 58.
An emotional Wright shared the good news during ITV’s FA Cup coverage, which will include the Gunners’ third-round clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
That comes the same day his nephew D’Margio, 20, who is following in the footsteps of the former England international, made his professional debut for Stoke in today’s FA Cup home clash with Leyton Orient.
Fighting back tears, Wright said: “I’m so glad he got through the game, so happy for him. It’s hard to explain what that means. “
