Arkansas nursing home hit by tornado, killing 2, injuring 5

MONETTE, Ark. (WREG / KTLA / KARK) – A nursing home in Northeast Arkansas was hit by a tornado, leaving two dead and five injured.

Craighead County Judge Marvin Day confirmed two people were dead and five were seriously injured at Monette Manor in Monette, Arkansas.

At one point 20 people were trapped in a nursing home.
