IF you are an iPhone photography fanatic, Apple has just launched a perfect contest for you.
The tech giant is looking for the best macro shots and may even use yours in its campaigns.
Apple’s extensive search for the first prize winner starts today through February 16.
It’s called the “iPhone Shooting Challenge” in 2022.
It is a must that you will need to take a photo on your iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.
A macro photo is an extreme close-up that can include subjects such as flowers, a piece of fruit, snow, insects, and pets.
You can even take a macro photo of a human.
Apple’s new iPhone 13 Pro lineup has the perfect camera for this type of photo.
The iPhone 13 range can take photos from a minimum focusing distance of 2cm.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max feature Ultra Wide, Wide, and Tele cameras with Apple-designed A15 Bionic performance.
The contest is open to professional or amateur photographers 18 years of age or older.
You can live anywhere in the world.
Apple invites you to upload and share your favorite photos.
Participation requires taking photos on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, using the hashtags # #iPhonemacrochallenge and #ShotoniPhone.
You can upload them to Twitter and Instagram.
Your best photos can be taken directly from the camera or edited through Apple’s Photos app or editing tools, as well as third-party software.
Expert judges in the industry and Apple will select 10 winning photos from around the world.
The iPhone macro photo champions will be featured on Apple’s social media and an online gallery.
Winner will be announced in April.
“Share your best macro photos taken on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max on Instagram and Twitter, using hashtags ##ShotoniPhone and #iPhonemacrochallenge to enter the challenge,” Apple said.
“Weibo users can join using #ShotoniPhone# and #iPhonemacrochallenge#.
“Please note the model you used to capture your image in the caption. You can also choose to email your image in the highest resolution by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. “
