Antonio Brown shoots his shot with the Dallas Cowboys pitch

Antonio Brown reaches for the star.
The Mercurial wide receiver joined “The Pivot Podcast‘ with former NFL players Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor and proposed to Jerry Jones that he join the Dallas Cowboys.
“The plan is to get back in the game,” Brown said when asked about his plans for next season. “Maybe Jerry Jones thinks it’s sexy that I exude all this motivation and all this hard work and encouragement. Maybe he wants to use some of that energy.”
If the Cowboys Browns owner actually finds motivation, hard work, and encouragement sexy and wants to harness some of that energy, it’s still a little difficult to make it happen.
The Cowboys have negative cap space early in the season and various reports surfaced this week that they are considering parting ways with the likes of them defensive end Demarcus Lawrence, Wide receiver Amari Cooper and Center La’el Collins.
While Jones and the Cowboys have garnered a number of players considered character hazards over the years, Brown’s antics could mean a lot even to them.

In his last game with the Buccaneers, Brown famously gave up in the second quarter, toss his jersey into the crowd and do shirtless jumping jacks in the end zone at MetLife Stadium. This followed several years of personal and legal troubles that resulted in his being relegated from the Steelers, Raiders and Patriots before the Bucs.
The other team Brown has courted this offseason is the Baltimore Ravens; Brown spent Super Bowl Sunday with quarterback Lamar Jackson.
