Former President Donald Trump in a strange recent interview cited many anti-Semitic gossip, including that Jewish Americans ‘no longer love Israel’.

Trump made the remarks during a one-on-one interview with Israeli journalist Barak Ravid earlier this year, with portions airing on the Unholy: Two Jews podcast on the News on Friday.

The former president stated: ‘There are people in this country who are Jews, who no longer love Israel. I will tell you that the Protestants love Israel more than the Jews in this country. ‘

He went on to claim that ‘Israel has absolute power before Congress’ but “today I think it’s the exact opposite and I think (former President Barack) Obama and (President Joe) Biden did the right thing.” there”.

“And in the election, they still got a lot of votes from the Jews,” Trump continued. “That tells you that Jews – and I’ve been saying this for a long time – Jews in the United States either don’t like Israel or don’t care about Israel.”

Trump concluded by launching an influential newspaper.

‘I mean you look at The New York Times, The New York Times hates Israel, hates them,’ Trump said. ‘And they are the Jews who run The New York Times. I mean, the Sulzberger family…’

Those are the latest controversial comments Trump made about Jewish Americans – although his eldest daughter Ivanka Trump converted to Orthodox Judaism to marry Jared Kushner.

While still president in 2019, Trump said Jews who voted for Democrats were being ‘very disloyal to Israel’.

Trump’s new comments come as Republican members of Congress continue to criticize Democrats, who scrutinize Israeli policies toward Palestinians and increasingly support the rights of the Palestinian people.

In the interview with Ravid, Trump also said that he had not spoken to former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since he congratulated Biden on winning the 2020 presidential election.
