Anne Heche burned to death after falling into a Los Angeles home

Actress Anne Heche was badly burned after her car burst into flames following a car crash in Los Angeles on Friday.
Heche, 53, was driving her Mini Cooper through a Mar Vista apartment complex around noon when she crashed into a garage, TMZ reported.
Bystanders tried to help the “Donnie Brasco” actress from the vehicle, but she reversed, drove away and drove into a home, starting a serious fire, the outlet said.




Heche was pulled from the wreckage by first responders wearing charred clothing and appeared to be attempting to wriggle out of her stretcher, according to aerial footage obtained from the site.
She was on ventilators and in critical condition in a hospital but was “expected to live,” TMZ reported.
Home security footage obtained from a local CBS station showed her blue car speeding recklessly through a suburban community before the accident.
The mangled vehicle was barely recognizable afterwards, according to footage of the burnt-out, debris-strewn car being towed from the scene, posted by KCBS-TV.
According to the report, Heche’s serious condition prevented officers from testing her for alcohol.
The actress has spoken publicly about her substance abuse issues.


“I drank. I smoked. I did drugs. I had sex with people. I did everything I could to take the shame out of my life,” she told ABC News in 2020.

Heche has two children, one with Laffoon and one with Tupper.
