Leading actress Anne Hathaway, dressed down to the last detail with exquisite Gucci, Armani and Louis Vuitton insignia, is crowned Haute Couture Queen of the Cannes Film Festival.
And fans of the brunette bombshell are digitally reveling in the diva’s fashion resurgence of the early 2000s.
“Can we all take a moment to pay tribute to Anne Hathaway look like a goddess in Cannes,” tweeted an admirer of the Oscar winner, along with a snap of her in a sequined two-piece ensemble with a floral print by Schiaparelli. “I love it Anne HathawayRenaissance we’re going through,” chimed another.
Hathaway, 39, who made her debut at the annual screen soirée over the weekend, caused a stir at the premiere of her feature film Armageddon Time, starring Anthony Hopkins, 84, and Jeremy Strong, 43.
And immediately after landing in France on Wednesday, the blockbuster beauty turned Nice Côte d’Azur Airport into a virtual runway and whizzed through in a chic, loose-fitting pantsuit.
From there, Hathaway ditched her on-trend travel attire to don a white strapless Armani Privé gown reminiscent of her Princess Diaries glamour, on Thursday’s film festival’s star-studded red carpet.
The flawless fashion brand has outdone itself all weekend, rocking a blue Gucci mini dress on Friday, stunning in a coffee-colored number by Louis Vuitton on Saturday and glowing in a pink Valentino piece on Sunday.
And the luxe looks sent Hathaway enthusiasts into total Twitter frenzy.
“Anne Hathaway at the Cannes Film Festival. She looks so angelic.” praised a cyber buff. “The way Anne Hathaway could play the lead a reboot of Princess Diaries. and it would still work because she looks the same,” said another.
Others have boasted about their unrelenting love for the movie megastar, despite her brief hiatus from the spotlight in recent years.
