At 9:45 p.m. ET, the GoFundMe created for Angelina Please – titled Help Bring My Sister Home for Burial – brought in nearly $11,000 off its $20,000 goal.

After dozens of generous donations, GoFundMe organizer Taylon Montalbano shared an update.

Taylon wrote: “My parents and I are speechless at the love everyone has shared from Francesca.

“My father, a 71-year Vietnam veteran who doesn’t fully understand technology and the meaning of the $ amount, was moved to tears when I told him, ‘So many people loved your daughter.’

“He was shown hope by these donations.”
