An elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet on Memorial Day in New York

An 80-year-old woman was struck by an apparent stray bullet at her home in Queens late Memorial Day, cops and police sources said.

The senior was sitting in a chair at the home on 128th Street off 107th Avenue in South Ozone Park around 11:30 p.m. when a black sedan pulled up and shot someone inside multiple times through a living room window, the sources said.

The elderly woman was hit in the upper right arm, police said.

She was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators don’t believe the woman was the intended target, according to the sources.

They are investigating whether the gunman fired at the wrong house or whether the shots were intended for someone known to the victim, the sources said.

Police are also investigating whether the shooting was gang-related, the sources said.

The octogenarian was home alone at the time but lives with her husband, the sources said. An elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet on Memorial Day in New York
