Amy Pascal on the state of Venom 3 and the production of Spider-Man: No Way Home

With the director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: There’s no way home ready to break the pandemic box office record when it hits theaters on December 17th, I recently spoke with the producer Amy Pascal about the upcoming Sony/Marvel sequel. In the interview, she talks about the challenges of making a movie with so many moving parts (and the actors), how they came up with the story they wanted to tell, including the multiverse, etc. , Pascal also produces other Sony/Marvel movies such as Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, I asked about the status of Venom 3. While she defended with her answer, she confirmed that they are working on it:

“We’re in the planning stages right now but what we’re focused on is getting people to come see it There is no way home. ”

Spider-Man: There’s no way home begins after the events of Spiderman: Away from home where J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) revealed Spider-Man’s identity to the world after being convinced by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) for which the Web Crawler is a villain. As you saw in the trailer, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) comes to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to see if he can erase Spider-Man’s true identity from everyone’s memory. Unfortunately, the spell doesn’t work and instead brings visitors from another reality into the MCU.
