Amouranth announces OnlyFans’ retirement in 2022 as a “career pivot”.

amorous announced that she’s leaving OnlyFans in June to begin a “career swing” into content that’s different from anything she’s done and falls into the “old media” realm.

In August 2021, Amouranth announced that she was making over $1 million a month from her OnlyFans content. It contributed to most of their earnings at the time, presumably surpassing Twitch.

That’s coming to an end in June, however, after the Twitch star announced she’s retiring from the platform and turning to a “different” type of content, and she’s already investing money to make it happen.

Amouranth announced that she will be making a career move in June.

“The end of an era,” she said on April 12. “It’s time to stop being cold turkey for e-girls and leave OnlyFans in June.

“First of all, I’ve just invested $350,000-$400,000 in Twitch content. Will announce more later in the week.

“The result is binary. Either it works or it doesn’t work. We’re all in. I’ve often spoken of a career pivot. But I kind of found my place, invested, accumulated capital and used it when opportunities arose.”

“I invest a lot in content unlike anything I’ve ever done. We are shifting ‘influencers’ and ‘creator economy’ into what has traditionally been the domain and competency of legacy media.”

What the nature of this content will be, her fans will have to wait and see. However, Amouranth promised it would be big. “This is just the beginning (or the beginning of the end of my disappearance from the internet).”

Amouranth’s next announcement will take place between June 15th and 17th. Who knows what she’s got planned, but considering her recent business ventures have turned out great, this pivot is likely to follow.
