Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Outlook, and Tinder down after previous mass outages brought Netflix, Hulu, and others offline

AMAZON Web Services experienced connectivity issues Wednesday, the second time in less than two weeks the service has been disrupted.

Tinder and Microsoft are also experiencing issues according to self-reports on Downdetector.

More than 500 Tinder outage reports were logged Wednesday Downdetector and over 200 on Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft says engineers are working to fix the problem with Azure.

According to Downdetector, Outlook is also being discontinued.

Xbox, Playstation, Hulu, Netflix and more all problems encountered.

People have also complained of problems with Google, Slack, Facebook, EA, and Call of Duty.

Several power outages have affected users worldwide.

Report of Facebook goes down starting earlier today at around 8 a.m. ET.

Most of the problems are attributed to server issues but they can also be related to the devices people use to access these online platforms.

Thousands of users have reported issues with Amazon Web Services, which went down earlier today and affected several websites.

Over 20,000 reports of server problems have been enabled Downdictor at about 10:40 a.m. ET.

Amazon has confirmed to us that there was a brief issue with AWS in two regions, but they claim those issues are now fixed.

Amazon told us: “Between 7:14 a.m. PST and 7:59 a.m. PST, customers experienced heightened network packet loss affecting connectivity to a small subset of Internet destinations.

“Traffic within the AWS Region, between AWS Regions, and to other destinations on the Internet is not affected.

“The issue was caused by network congestion between parts of the AWS Backbone and a subset of Internet Service Providers, enabled by AWS traffic engineering, enforced to resolve the congestion outside of the network. ours.

“This traffic technique incorrectly moved more traffic than expected to portions of the AWS Backbone, which affected connectivity to a subset of Internet destinations. The issue has been resolved. resolved and we don’t expect a recurrence.”

AWS provides cloud services for some of the most popular brands including Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, Tinder, and Disney+.
