NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Talks between Amazon.com Inc and India’s Future Retail aimed at settling a longstanding dispute over whether Future’s retail properties can be sold to Reliance Industries have collapsed, lawyers for the companies said on Tuesday before the Supreme Court.
Both Amazon and Future said they would like to resume arbitration proceedings in Singapore, which had been stayed by the New Delhi High Court.
The Supreme Court said it will hear arguments from Amazon and rule on the matter on Wednesday.
