Lionel Messi has raved about Tottenham Hotspur and Argentina centre-back Cristian Romero.
The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain striker has said that Tottenham Hotspur star Cristian Romero is currently the best defender in the world, as quoted in The London Evening Standard.
Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, plays with Romero for the Argentina national soccer team.
The two players played for Argentina against Ecuador in a 2026 CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier.
