Friday (February 25) episode of ITV The breakfast show saw Hammond present without her typical co-star Dermot O’Leary.
Hammond explained O’Leary’s absence, saying he was enjoying a “well-earned day off”.
The broadcaster presented the episode with Josie Gibsonwho – like Hammond – found fame on Oldest brother.
Fans were thrilled to see the two presenters play a new game called What the Hack, which sees the duo handing over various objects and tasked with figuring out how they will go. used in a “hacking life”.
“Matt Edmondson is going to challenge me and Josie as we play our guessing game for the first and probably last time,” Hammond told viewers.
The 47-year-old quickly corrected herself: “Well, I don’t think it will be the last.”
Hammond’s comment gives viewers hope for Gibson’s return in the future.
One viewer tweeted: “Alison and Josie absolutely loved presenting this Friday This morningI would love to have them present more often. ”

Hammond previously opened up about her close friendship with Gibson, saying the pair spoke to each other “every day during the lockdown.”
Gibson added: “Alison really helped me get through the lockdown. She was there talking to me every night, and we decided to be very spiritual together. ”
Rumor has it that Gibson will take on a larger presenting role on This morning started after she covered Holly Willoughby last year.
