She told her Instagram followers she had no choice but to make the visit after the doctor failed to call her back.

Sharing pictures of herself in the waiting area, she wrote: “In the hospital, waiting to be seen. All this extra money on the NHS. Wish my doctor saved me all this by calling. I’ve been waiting both Monday and today.

“High fever and severe tonsillitis. If only I could have started these pills yesterday. Good luck for tomorrow’s reading.”

The day before, she had expressed her frustration at not being able to talk to her GP.

She said: “Waiting for the doctor to call me all day. All I need is antibiotics for tonsillitis.”

When it became clear she wouldn’t take one, she asked, “What do I do?

“Tomorrow read a long poem at my stepmother’s funeral. Please help.”

Aisleyen announced her sad news early last month and took several days on social media to grieve.

When she returned, she said, “Life is an adventure, surround yourself with good people and enjoy the ride ❤🌹.”

A month ago, Aisleyne suffered a painful burn after sunbathing and warned fans not to make the same mistake.

She said: “So it’s all here and if you can see, my eyes are really swollen, I have these puffy sacs filled with fluid.

“Be careful. I only have eight minutes. Girls and boys be careful.”
