Adele’s ’30’ Leads Race UK Charts – Billboard

By Adele blockbuster album 30 (Columbia) is on track to take third place in a row in the UK rankings. But it won’t be an easy ride.

Based on midweek sales and streaming data released by OCC, 30 is natural for the crown, although it is facing a challenge from JLS‘NS 2.0 (BMG), the X Factor Alum’s first album of original material since Evolution, which peaked at number 3 on the Official UK Albums Chart in 2012.

JLS’ latest is aiming to debut at #2, which will be the outfit’s sixth UK Top 10 album, continuing a relentless streak that began with the eponymous debut of JLS. them, in 2009.

Despite finishing as runner-up The X Factor in 2008, JLS reached first place on the UK charts, including five number-one singles and a best-selling album with JLS.
