Adele tells how her late father covered her with a garbage bag
SINGER Adele has made a shocking confession as she revealed her late father once put a garbage bag over her head.
But the British superstar, 34, was quick to make it clear that he wanted to surprise her grandparents.

During her performance at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas, the Easy On Me singer revealed a rare highlight of her strained relationship with her father, Mark Evans.
She said: “One of my fondest childhood memories is when my dad picked me up from my mom, which was rare, and introduced me to my grandparents with a garbage bag over my head.”
She added: “It was meant in good faith. Bless his soul, I love him.”
In recent interviews, the mother of one child has spoken openly about her broken relationship with her father.
Mark, who died aged 57 after his battle with cancer in 2021, left the family home when Adele was three.
She then continued: “He basically dumped me on the doorstep as a surprise and put a bin bag over my head like I had been delivered. “
She said: “My nana was so surprised and happy to see me. It was absolutely amazing. Sometimes when I talk about him as an adult, I don’t know if it’s funny or not.”
