ADELE’S troubled Las Vegas residency can move to a new location – on the road.
The British singer canceled her series of gigs at Caesars Palace Colosseum just hours before her first show in January after complaining about the state of the studio.
Now Adele, 33, is in talks to reschedule the concerts – where tickets sell for up to £9,000 – and has been approached about a pause at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theatre.
A source said: “Negotiations are ongoing with Adele about the possibility of her relocating to Zappos.
“The venue is in the Caesars family – with whom she has huge money dealings – and it’s world class.
“It’s been home to a lot of big stars, including Jennifer Lopez and Shania Twain, and after the issues Adele raised about her staging and sound quality at the Colosseum, it seems like Zappos could be the answer.
“Plus, the schedule at the Colosseum is very tight. That location was her first choice, but if that wasn’t possible then Zappos was the perfect choice and they wanted her to know the door was open. ”
Zappos is almost twice the size of the Colosseum and can hold 7,000 fans.
Adele, who won three Brit Awards for album 30 last month, claims the stay – worth more than £500,000 a night – will take place this year.
Speaking to Graham Norton, she said, “I regret I kept going until that late in the day. It would be a really half-baked show and I just can’t do it. “
The Sun revealed how Adele described a pool on her Caesars as being likened to an “old baggy pond”.
