According to the NYPD, a 19-year-old teenager was slashed with a box knife and robbed on a Bronx train

A stranger slashed a teenage boy with a box knife on a Bronx train Thursday afternoon and robbed her, police officers said.

The 19-year-old victim was on a No 6 train at Parkchester station at around 12:15pm when a man approached her and demanded: ‘Give me your watch and phone. Stay on the train,” authorities said.

He then slapped her on the arm and chin and grabbed her phone and necklace, police said.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics, police said.

The suspect, who police said was wearing a black hoodie, white mask and black pants, ran away after the attack and was still wanted about an hour later.
