‘Absolutely no chance’: £200,000-a-week midfielder definitely staying at Liverpool – Romano

Fabrizio Romano has stated on Twitter that Thiago Alcantara will not be leaving Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Italian journalist claimed this morning that there is no chance of Liverpool midfielder Thiago leaving Anfield now.
Thiago Alcantara is staying at Liverpool
Romano has pointed out that there is speculation that Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor are interested in the £200,000-a-week (Spotrac) Spanish midfielder.
The reporter has made it clear that there are no plans for the 32-year-old Spanish international to move from Liverpool.
Thiago has been on Liverpool’s books since 2020, when he moved from FC Bayern Munich.
The former Barcelona star has played 67 Premier League games so far in his career.
Thiago has scored two goals and provided four assists in these games.

The midfielder has struggled with injury problems during his time with the Merseyside club.
Thiago made three starting appearances and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League last season and made seven starting appearances and three substitute appearances in the 2021/22 competition.
Thiago has failed to make much of an impression at Liverpool
Thiago missed a lot in Liverpool.
Much was expected of the top-class midfielder when he moved to the Merseyside club from Bayern Munich.
However, due to ongoing injury issues, we haven’t seen the best of Thiago at Liverpool.
And we never will.
After all, Thiago is now 32 years old and no longer has a contract with Liverpool at the end of the season.
It’s hard to imagine Liverpool handing the midfielder a new contract any time soon.
