A week later, Hulking escaped as a still-at-large New York prisoner

He’s still at large – and more so.
The hulking Spider-Man-like prisoner, who escaped by roping down the side of a Manhattan hospital, was still at large on Wednesday — a week after he escaped, authorities confirmed.
According to police, 44-year-old Yenchun Chen has managed to evade officers since his daring escape – which saw him descending Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Gramercy Park with bed sheets knotted on the afternoon of August 9.
Chen – who is 1.9 meters tall and weighs about 250 pounds – then jumped into a cab and drove off.
The next day, police followed him all the way to New Jersey, and police searched several locations, to no avail.
It was not immediately clear where the search for Chen stood on Wednesday.
The police confirmed that Chen was still on the run.
A spokesman for the Department of Corrections said, “The person was not arrested,” but did not comment further.

Chen was arrested on July 31 for criminal possession of a controlled substance and hospitalized on August 4 with a heart problem, according to a Health Ministry official and sources.
He jumped out of the fifth-story hospital window while he was supposed to be taking a shower, then climbed down a ladder to street level, sources said.

Police described the fugitive as a brown-eyed, black-haired man with tattoos on his left arm and hand.
Anyone with information on Chen’s whereabouts should call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
