A deer crashes through a nursing home window in New York

According to a report, a deer broke into a nursing home in New York and wreaked havoc there.

The unwanted animal visitor came tumbling through the window of the rehabilitation department at Wells Nursing Home in Johnstown earlier this week.

“I was in another office and I was like, ‘I have to get my phone,’ because no one is going to believe me there’s a six-point buck jumping around there,” said Bill Betts, the facility’s director of rehab, the outlet said .

The animal was visibly frightened and looked for a way out, but got confused by all the mirrors in the room. About 10 minutes later he managed to escape through another window.

Thankfully, no one was around during the short-lived chaos.

“You can laugh about it now,” Betts said. “But thank God there was nobody in the department at the time, no residents, no patients.”
