80-year-old man killed in triple stabbing attack on Staten Island: NYPD

An 81-year-old man was killed and two others – including a 78-year-old – were injured in a triple stabbing on Staten Island Friday evening, according to police and sources.

Sources said the violence broke out at 43 Sunnyside Terrace around 4:40 p.m., possibly after an argument between neighbors.

Three men were found at the scene with stab wounds, including the 81-year-old who died from his injuries, police and sources said.

The 78-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition and the third victim, 51, suffered minor injuries, police said.

A suspicious person was taken into police custody, police said.

According to sources, a knife was recovered from the crime scene.
