73-year-old woman killed by a comfort sheep at horticulture farm near Boston – CBS Baltimore

BOLTON (CBS) – A comfort sheep is said to have killed a volunteer on a ranch in Bolton, a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. The volunteer was identified as Kim Taylor, 73 years old.
“Taylor, a longtime volunteer at Cultivate Care Farms, was tending livestock in a barn alone when a sheep lunged at her and rammed her repeatedly,” said a statement from the Regional Emergency Communications Center. Nashoba Valley said.

Taylor was seriously injured and went into cardiac arrest shortly after first responders arrived. She was taken to Marlborough Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Cultivate Care focuses on animal therapy. It depicts the participating sheep as a laid-back animal.
