6ix9ine is launching the Gine NFT collection months after Trollz NFT “scam” claims

Notorious New York rapper Daniel ‘6ix9ine’ Hernandez has launched a new NFT collection called Giné, which shares the same name as his latest single, just months after he was accused of cheating fans with a previous NFT collection .

In October 2021, 6ix9ine launched the Trollz NFT collection on the Solana blockchain, launching 6969 profile picture-like images inspired by the rapper himself.

A fan even Minted 82 Trollz and bought many more on the secondary markethas now come to the conclusion that none of the return promises for the owners will be fulfilled.

Now 6ix9ine is launching a new collection and delves into what went wrong with Trollz – and why he won’t let the same thing happen again.

In line with his latest single at the time of writing, 6ix9ine has created the Giné NFT collection, a 3D art that once again appears to be inspired by his likeness.

“All my fans, I dropped my NFT collection, the Giné NFT collection, and I’m super excited because there are a lot of surprises,” he said in one Instagram story. “Make sure you join the Discord and get the NFT!”

6ix9ine addresses Trollz NFT fraud allegations

In another video promoting the Giné collection, the rapper talked about what happened to Trollz and why it will be different this time.

“I want to apologize,” he said. “My apologies for jumping into the NFT community without knowing what an NFT is… I wasn’t well informed. It was a paid partnership that I took advantage of. What makes this so different is that it is not a paid partnership. It’s my own brand. Behind it is a strong team.”

It goes without saying that 6ix9ine is one of the most talked about rappers in the game right now, and he and his fans are hoping this translates into success in the NFT world as well.

However, with its brand on the project, there’s reason to believe this one won’t be quite as abandoned as Trollz – but only time will tell.
