Royneco Tiun Harris, 42, is a member of the 65 Groveside gang and was found guilty in 2019 of fatally shooting a man and injuring the victim’s child.
Harris has been wanted since October 2021 after being sentenced to 99 years in a Texas Department of Justice prison.
He was arrested in Dallas by DPS special agents assigned to the North Texas Anti-Gang Center. The Texas Highway Patrol, Dallas Police Department and members of the US Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force helped capture Harris.
During his 2019 trial, Harris removed his GPS tracking device and fled, lawmakers say.
Harris has a history of gun offenses and was arrested in 2011 for violating federal probation. In 2015 and 2018 he was convicted of unlawful possession of a gun by a felon. Harris was named to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List on February 17, 2022. See his captured bulletin for more information.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sexual Offenders Lists. Visit the DPS website for the most up-to-date lists of photos.
