4-year-old enters DC hospital with gunshot wounds, police say
A 4-year-old girl was taken to a Washington, DC hospital Saturday with a gunshot wound, police say.
The girl was breathing and conscious at the time of her arrival at the medical facility, but the police have not released any further information on the child’s condition.
The shooting is believed to have taken place in the 1800 block of 28th Square in the south-east of the city.
Police have not provided local television station FOX 5 or Fox News Digital with details of what led to the shooting or the suspects involved.
The incident is being further investigated.
