3 seniors died in house fire in Clifton, NJ

Three seniors died in a devastating house fire in Clifton, NJ, authorities said.
The victims were identified as 95-year-old Helen Popovich, Steven Warga, 65, and Elaine Warga, 71, according to the Passaic County Attorney’s Office, northjersey.com reported.
The fast-moving fire broke out around 7:30pm on Friday at an apartment building on Ladwik Lane, investigators said.


According to dailyvoice.com, firefighters found two of the dead victims on the second floor and another in the basement.
A fourth unidentified person was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, in stable condition, according to prosecutors, who said the cause of the fire was undetermined and the investigation “active and ongoing.”
Three firefighters and a Clifton police officer also sustained non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
