The Chicago Bears watched this past Sunday when another Super Bowl game was played that the team was not participating in. The Bears have not appeared in the Super Bowl since they lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl to close out the 2006 NFL season.

The Los Angeles Rams are currently at the top of the NFL world when they beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI last Sunday and won their first championship since the team moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles.

Starting last year’s season, the Rams had a clear goal of winning the Super Bowl LVI. The Rams’ season began last year with a deal with the Detroit Lions that saw the team acquire Matthew Stafford in exchange for Jared Goff and a draft selection package.

The Rams have also made a number of moves during the season to bolster their chances of winning the Super Bowl. During the off-season, the Rams partnered with the Denver Broncos on a deal that brought Pro-Bowl team Von Miller, and at the end of the season, the team signed veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr after he was liberated from the Cleveland Browns.

The Chicago Bears should look to the Los Angeles Rams this season as they try to improve their roster and get back into the right position.

The Rams drew criticism when some suggested the team had “bought” their Super Bowl victory but that’s the direction the NFL is in. The Rams will now be tasked with keeping their respective free agents as they hope to repeat as Super Bowl champions. If the Rams can’t keep all of their free agents, there are three players in particular who might be interested in the Bears.
