This weekend, Chicago Bears Fans will spend another weekend in a row watching playoff football without their home team.

However, one of these days, the Bears will return to playing football in late January and early February. Hopefully sooner, but for now, let’s sit back and watch.

A common factor among the four teams leaving this Weekend’s Championship is that each team has at least one top wide receiver. The hottest names in football this weekend include the likes of Ja’Marr Chase, Deebo Samuel, Cooper Kupp, Tyreek Hill, and others.

For the Bears to get back to the top, it’s pretty clear: this team needs additional talent in the wide receiver position. When free agency begins, the Bears will say goodbye to Allen Robinson and immediately look for a replacement to start next. Darnell Mooney.

Championship Weekend has a number of future freelancers that the Chicago Bears can choose to pursue.

In addition to the four names listed above, there will be even more talent at the helm this weekend – and some of them may be looking for a new team after this season ends.

The Bears will be looking at a rather slim studio, with Mooney being the only major name left under contract for 2022. Chicago will face their own free agency decision with the likes of Jakeem Grant, Damiere Byrd and Marquis Goodwin.

It’s likely the Bears brought back at least one of those people, and hopefully it’s Grant. After a All Pro As a returning specialist, Grant also proves he can be an offensive weapon when the opportunity arises.

In addition to Mooney and Grant, the Bears will cut their jobs so they fill the void. Chicago will still need big jobs done at the receiver. So what about playing options this weekend?
