2 shots, 1 seriously injured at Shirley Ave. in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – Two men were hit by gunfire in Buffalo Saturday night, with one victim suffering “serious” injuries, Buffalo police officials said.

Officers with the Northeast District of the Buffalo Police Department responded to an exchange of gunfire in the 200 block of Shirley Avenue just before 5:20 p.m.

According to investigators, two men were shot dead. One victim’s injuries were “serious,” a city spokesman said.

The police are investigating the incident.
