2 more teenagers arrested in Aurora Hinkley High School shooting

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) – The Aurora Police Department says two 16-year-olds have been arrested for first-degree murder in the Hinkley High School shooting that occurred Friday.

Three minors were shot and wounded Friday in the Hinkley High School parking lot after an altercation escalated into gun violence.

Two are students at Hinkley and one is a student at APS Avenue. Police said one of the three was a suspect in the shooting.

A 16-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder on Friday and police said they were gathering information on other suspects.

Detectives are still looking for others who may be involved. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
