2 injured in early morning fire at Fayetteville home: officials

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WNCN) – Fayetteville Fire Department officials say two people were injured after a house fire early morning Sunday.

Around 5:30 a.m., crews said they were called to the scene at 1508 Lyon Road to see heavy fire visible from the home.

Two people were reportedly flown to a hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the fire is being further investigated.
