16-year-old trans twitch streamer reportedly placed in foster homes by police during stream

A 16-year-old trans Twitch streamer from Tennessee has gone viral after police entered her room and forced her to shut down her stream. It is alleged that she was placed in foster care for missing school after being prevented from using the correct bathroom.

It’s not everyday for a Twitch streamer to be taken away by the police, but that’s exactly what happened to a 16-year-old broadcasting on the platform.

The teenager, whose name has been withheld, was streaming on Twitch when police arrived to allegedly place her in a nursing home for truancy, all because she wasn’t allowed to use the proper toilet.

Things started with the streamer saying it would probably be her last “as they were trying to get me to kill myself or go into foster care or something.”

In the background of the VOD, which has since been deleted from Twitch, you can see a chair placed in front of the door to block outside access.

After about 16 minutes of streaming Minecraft, the police entered the room, which the streamer casually played off.

“Okay, well, now there’s an officer in here trying to join the stream,” she said with cops in the background. “I guess we’ll just let officials sit in the stream.”

“I’ll just pretend they’re not here because that’s easier,” they added. “I don’t know why they wanted to get on the stream.”

At this point the VOD breaks off, and when it is claimed that the streamer will be taken into foster families. Dexerto has reached out to the streamer and will update when we get feedback.
