Thirteen people were arrested by police following a major altercation at Central Miami High School on Tuesday.

The incident happened at school number 1781, Road 95 Northwest, where there are many officers on campus. Video recorded on a student’s cell phone shows several teenagers participating in the scuffle as school security and police react.

The school has been put on lockdown.

“We were in class and everyone started shouting ‘There’s a fight! There is a war! ‘ And that’s when we come out of the classroom and you see people running towards the building over here,” one student said. And apparently there were 25 scuffles in general. But they took one of them apart and then they turned around and that’s when people started shouting ‘There’s a gun, there’s a gun.’ Everyone started running after that. “

Officials have not released any information about the incident or whether the detainees will face charges. Five of the 13 are not students.
